Abobe Flash Player is the original, proprietary flash player. Emerge it with:
emerge -av adobe-flash
This ebuild was formerly named net-www/netscape-flash. So if you can't find www-plugins/adobe-flash try running emerge --sync. This change happened around April 2009.
Issues related:
- If you find it was masked, please add these following lines to the /etc/portage/package.license file
www-plugins/adobe-flash AdobeFlash-10.1
- For amd64 users who would like to use 32bit plugins in firefox or something else, please run:
emerge -av www-plugins/nspluginwrapper
