华尔街重新表示了对上市公司收益的信心(下)

 

公司管理层对因特尔的财报持积极态度，他们表示公司已经看到了计算机芯片市场的健康需求。

 

因特尔的股价大增5.8%至22.13美元报收。

 

可口可乐周三表示，由于海外销售额的强劲，其第一季度利润飙升19%。然而在北美可能会遭遇到持续性的挑战。

 

这家公司一季度净收入为15亿美元，每股盈余64美分，这包含了因结构性调整和资产减值下跌而带来的3美分。

 

分析师称良性增长的财报支撑了可口可乐的收益，然而市场却没看到油价在短时间内创纪录的飙升至超过115美元一桶所带来的预警信息。

 

工党的调查显示三月由于能源价格屡创新高，消费价格指数温和上涨了0.3个百分点。

 

据美联储消息称，这场通涨带来了一些舒缓作用。如果这种舒缓被这些证据证实处于可控状态，那么美联储将能更自由的削减利率，法国兴业银行的一位经济学家Stephen Gallagher称。

 

由于持续性的房价下跌以及由此带来的次贷危机使得大家对经济可能在上半年遭受衰退而造成的恐慌，美国中央银行希望在本月晚些时候削减利率.

 

另一份政府调查报告显示，房市仍然处于低迷状态。

 

商务部称，新的住房建设和新建住宅得许可证申请已经降至16年来的最低点，3月在年度增长率上仅为947000个单位。

 

证券价格下降，周二10年期国库券的利率从3.503%升至3.696%，而30年期国库券的利率从4.525%下降至4.341%。

 

证券得价格和期利率朝截然相反得方向走。

 

欧洲股市也普遍上扬。伦敦金融时报100指数上涨2.36 ％ ，收于6046.20 ，而在巴黎CAC 40升 1.56 ％ 至4855.10 。法兰克福DAX指数上涨1.79 ％ ，至6702.84。

 

Intel's shares closed up 5.8 percent at 22.13 dollars.  

 

Coca-Cola said on Wednesday that its first-quarter profits rocketed 19 percent on the back of robust international sales, but warned of a continued challenge across North America.

The company posted first-quarter net income of 1.5 billion, or 64 cents a share, which included a charge of three cents a share related to restructuring and asset write-downs.  

 

Its shares ended up 0.3 percent at 61.15 dollars.  

 

Analysts said a benign inflation report also helped support the gains and that the markets had not seemed too alarmed by another spike in world oil prices which briefly rose to a record peak over 115 dollars a barrel.

 

A Labour Department survey showed consumer prices rose a modest 0.3 percent in March amid a spike in energy prices.

 

"For the Federal Reserve this inflation news brings some relief. If inflation expectations are kept under control by such evidence, then the Fed has a freer hand to cut rates," said Stephen Gallagher, an economist at Societe Generale.

 

The US central bank is expected to cut rates again later this month amid fears the economy will endure a recession during the first half of this year due in part to a prolonged housing slump and a related credit crunch.

 

Another government survey showed the housing market remains in the doldrums.

 

The Commerce Department said that new home construction and applications for permits to build new residential properties tumbled to a 16-year low in March of 947,000 units at an annualised rate.  

 

Bond prices declined as the yield on the 10-year US Treasury bond rose to 3.696 percent from 3.503 percent on Tuesday while that on the 30-year bond climbed to 4.525 percent from 4.341 percent.

 

Bond prices and yields move in opposite directions.

 

European stocks also leapt higher. London's FTSE 100 index rose 2.36 percent to finish at 6,046.20, while in Paris the CAC 40 added 1.56 percent to 4,855.10. The Frankfurt Dax gained 1.79 percent to 6,702.84. - AFP/de
