本文介绍了解决Maven无法更新Jar包的问题方法。首先，通过project->clean清理项目，然后使用Maven->UpdateProject并勾选ForceUpdateOfSnapshots/Releases选项强制更新。此外，若开发工具处于离线模式，需取消该设置。

maven更新不了jar包，show problems errors显示failed to read artifact descriptor for...

解决办法：

1、project->clean

2、Maven->Update Project，勾选：Force Update Of Snapshots/Releases

即可。

另外一种可能性：开发工具的离线模式有关系，如下图，将红框中两个勾去掉可以解决：

在使用Eclipse的Maven工程的pom文件的Overview选项中出现如上错误。 错误的原因：一些pom中配置的jar无法下载，可能是因为你的工程中已经有了对应的jar包，导致无法下载。可以将你的工程中已经存在的这个jar包删除，让maven再次更新。 在pom.xml的Dependencies选项中移除对应的jar包，然后保存pom文件使maven更新。
