SQL SERVER form 2000 to 2005

One day ,I must move a Databases named ShunFeng from sql2000 Chinese simple to sql2005 English. After try hundreds of  times. I do it success. Now ,I want to write it down.

1.       Datach the databases ShunFeng in sql2000 in my computer .

2.       Find the files ShunFeng.mdb.mdf and ShunFeng_log.ldf then move it to the server 210.***.***.***

3.       Start sql2005 in the server and then Attach the ShunFeng

4.       Setting a new login don’t select Enfore password policy  or the sql will change your password if it isn’t accord with the password policy. And then you don’t know what’s the password. Then input your lonin name and password , and you must be sure the password >=15 and include “123, abc, $#%” or there will be a warning of error.

Next, click the left menu User Mapping and select the databases ShunFeng in databases list and select public and da_owner  databases role list don’t more and don’t less .

5.       Enabled the TCP/IP . SQL2005, TCP/IP default is Disabled ,you must start it.

6.Change your conn.asp
