It’s good practice to set up vacation/OOF in OutlookCalendar so that people know that you are not in office. Wanted to pass thisinformation to everyone so that we set it up appropriately and not causingproblem on other people’s calendars:
- Make sure that you specify the back-up contactsfor the areas that you are responsible for
- Set “Show As” to “Free” so that your time off won’t blockother people’s calendar
- Un-check “Request Responses” under “ResponseOptions” so that people don’t need to respond to your vacation/OOFemail
- Set “Reminder” to “no” so that people won’t get an 15-minutesreminder at the beginning of the time slot
Book meeting room:
- select date time on calendar, and click new Meeting
- receive booking status mail after booking
