Dialogue 1:
A: Hello. Thank you for flying with Skyway Airlines. How are you
today?
B: I'm fine, thank you.
A: May I see your ticket, please?
B: Yes, here you go.
A: I see you're flying to Chile. Do you have your passport with
you?
B: Yes. I do. Do you need to see it?
A: Yes. I do. Okay, thank you. Do you have any baggage to
check?
B: Just this suitcase. My shoulder bag is carry-on luggage.
A: Has anyone else packed this bag for you or handled it after you
packed it?
B: NO, I packed it myself.
A: Alright then, just fill out this baggage ticket for your
suitcase.
B: Do you have a pen? I think I packed mine somewhere.
A: Certainly. Here you go.
B: Thank you. Are your metal detectors safe for camera film?
A: Yes, they are. Just put your suitcase here.
B: Okay. I guess that's it.
A: Your flight departs in one hour. You may go up to the departure
waiting area if you like and wait there.
大约三十分钟后开始登机。祝你旅途愉快。
Dialogue 2:
A: Hey, buddy. Are you doing okay?
B: Yeah. Why?
A: You just look kind of nervous and pale.
B: Oh, I just get nervous before flying. It doesn’t make any sense.
I know.
A: My uncle gets like that.
B: Once I'm on the plane. I'll take some sleeping pills. That
relaxes me.
A: Do you get airsick?
B: I don't think so, but I'm asleep for most flights.
A: I get airsick every time. I have to take pills for that.
B: We both sound like drug addicts.
A: I know. It's pretty bad. Do you want some water?
B: Yeah, actually that would be really nice right now.
A: Here you go. Finish this bottle.
B: Thanks. What's your name?
A: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Oliver. And you are ……..
B: I'm Lee. Nice to meet you.
Dialogue 3:
A: Mom. I hate to say it, but I think my flight is starting to
board.
B: Those are just the passengers in first class. We've got a few
more minutes.
A: I guess you're right. Don’t be so emotional. Mom.
B: I can't help it. You’re going off to college. It's a big
day.
A: I know, but you're making me nervous.
B: I'm sorry. You're right. Everything's packed, right?
A: If I forgot anything, it's too late now.
B: No, I could mail you something.
A: When are you going to come up to California to see me?
B: Probably in October. That's when they have parents week,
right?
A: Yes, I think so. It's sometime in October.
B: When does your flight land?
A: I think about 4 o'clock this afternoon. California time.
B: Well, make sure you call me when you get a chance.
A: I will. Mom, this is the final boarding call. I'd better
go.
B: Okay, give me a hug. I love you, dear.
A: I love you too, Mom. Bye. I'll call you.
Dialogue 4:
A: Excuse me. Is this the information desk?
B: Yes, it is. What can I do for you?
A: I need two things. One, can you tell me how to get to the city
from here?
B: There are a number of train, bus and taxi options at the airport
.
A: How do I find out about the train?
B: Trains leave every half hour. Go to the first level to find out
more.
A: What's on the first level?
B: The train ticketing and information desk. They're localed next
to the MeDonald's.
A: Great. I also need to report a missing bag.
B: The airline seems to have lost some of your luggage?
A: Yes, that's correct.
B: What you need to do is go back to the baggage claim.
A: Okay, got it.
B: At the end of the baggage claim area is a claims office.
A: I think I saw that. I didn't know what it was.
B: It's poorly labeled. In there, they can handle your
complaint.
A: Great. That's all I need. Thanks.
B: I'm glad I could help. Have a nice day.
Dialogue 5:
A: Hey, honey. I'm over here.
B: Oh. There you are. How was your trip?
A: It was wonderful. I'll have to tell you about it when I've got
time. There's so much to tell.
B: I noticed your flight was delayed. What happened?
A: We were late leaving Boston. Then we hit turbulence over
Denver.
B: That always scares me.
A: I was asleep the entire time.
B: Did you sleep the entire flight?
A: No. Right before I fell asleep. I was watching some comedy
movie. I don't remember the name.
B: Well, are you ready to get out of
B: Actually, I'm starved. Do you think we could get a bite to eat
first?
A: This airport
B: How does simple fast food sound to you? We can get a fancy
dinner later tonight.
A: whatever you want. Fast food sounds fine. It's good to have you
back.
B: It's good to be back.
