Alzheimer's disease is the most fatal neurodegenerative disorder wherein the process of amyloid-β (Aβ) amyloidogenesis appears causative. 阿尔茨海默病是最致命的神经退行性疾病,其中淀粉样蛋白-β(Aβ)淀粉样体发生过程似乎是病因。

β-amyloid (Aβ) is a normal soluble peptide found in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and other biological fluids. Aβ fibrils are associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD) senile plaques. We have used purified soluble Aβ (1-42) and Aβ (12-28) peptides in order to determine the oxidative modification induced in these peptides by exposure to peroxidase and hydrogen peroxide. β-淀粉样蛋白(Aβ)是一种在脑脊液(CSF)和其他生物液中发现的正常可溶性肽。Aβ原纤维与阿尔茨海默病(AD)老年斑块有关。我们使用纯化的可溶性Aβ(1-42)和Aβ(12-28)肽来测定这些肽通过暴露于过氧化物酶和过氧化氢而诱导的氧化修饰。
