What can we find in Spring FrameWork .NET

I knew spring framework from Java community from a long time. A few days ago, I read a chinese open source document about spring framework. What really interest me is that data access part in spring. And I also want to see it in the .Net port. But without luck I find nothing in Spring.NET. I still wonder why we need IoC, there are some reasons which I don't know.

Examples in spring framework let us to change datasource and the like freely, we can simply config the data source if we want to change to another database. That's the power of DI.

If we use inheritance heavily in development, can we use DI. Maybe there are some material I never know around internet. I will search it later.
