本文介绍了解决Linux环境下出现CouldnotupdateICEauthorityfile错误的方法。通过调整文件权限和所有权，确保Xwindow能够正常启动。

今早开机出现了Could not update ICEauthority file /home/username/.ICEauthority，google了一下

user跟group都是root，解决方法是把权限修改为当前登录的用户$USER
sudo chown $USER:$USER /home/$USER/.ICEauthority
sudo chmod 644 /home/$USER/.ICEauthority
重启X window，OK
