1. Choose ALF16 when installing Oracle Database

2. If you are using Oracle 12, Don't choose "Database dictionary" mode, otherwise there are some issues when you create schema for OBIEE.

3. When you use mapviewer to load datasource, remember to remove the comment mark from the configuration files. I am not sure it is a bug - after a datasource added, the configuration file will update the connection information, but not remove the comment mark in the configuration file.
