Centos 6.5 Git版本升级

阿里云Centos6.5自带1.7版本git,比较老

[root@xxxxx soft]# git version
git version 1.7.1
[root@xxxxx soft]# yum remove git

卸载后,咱们安装新版本

wget https://github.com/git/git/archive/v2.2.1.tar.gz

解压

tar -zxvf v2.2.1.tar.gz

生成配置

[root@xxxxx git-2.2.1]# make configure
GIT_VERSION = 2.2.1
    GEN configure

配置

 ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/git --with-iconv=/usr/local/libiconv

编译

make all doc

在生成说明文档的时候有报错,不管了

/bin/sh: line 1: asciidoc: command not found
make[1]: *** [git-add.html] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/xxx/soft/git-2.2.1/Documentation'
make: *** [doc] Error 2

安装

># make install install-doc install-html

配置全局变量

># echo "export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/git/bin" >> /etc/bashrc
># source /etc/bashrc

看看版本

[root@xxxxx soft]# git --version
git version 2.2.1
