WMN的作用

The WiMAX Mobile Network (WMN) management module addresses issues related to system selection, authentication, inter-NAP roaming, and QoS. 
    1.1 System selection deals with choosing a suitable Base Station (BS) of a Network Access Provider  (NAP) that serves the  appropriate Network Service Provider (NSP).  
    1.2 Authentication addresses the EAP-based authentication aspects involved in system access and handoff.  

    1.3 Roaming deals with handoff to BS(s) from different NAPs to maintain connectivity as the subscriber moves from the coverage of one NAP to that of another.
