1.Configuration of yum sources of Redhat 7.3

[1] mount the CDROM to /mnt/cdrom

#mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom

[2]make a new configuration file of yum resources.

#touch /etc/yum.repos.d/rhel7.repo

[3]configuration local yum resources.

cd /etc/yum.repos.d/
touch rhel7.repo
vi rhel7.repo

[rhel-yum]
name=rhel7   #my yum sources name
baseurl=file:///mnt/cdrom #local yum resources path
enabled=1                 #enable yum resources, 0 disable/1 enable
gpgcheck=0             #check GPG-KEY, 0 not check/1 check

Http yum repository configuration:

[rhel74]
name=rhel74   #my yum sources name
baseurl=http://192.168.81.130/rhel74/ #remote yum repository path
enabled=1       #enable yum resources, 0 disable/1 enable
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://192.168.81.130/rhel74/RPM-GPG-KEY-redhat-release

yum install tftp -y –nogpgcheck

[4]Now local yum resources can work. Let’s test it.

$ yum clean all     # clear the cache of yum
$ yum makecache     # make cache the software information fo local yum resources.

[5] To install GUI

yum -y groupinstall “Server with GUI”, then execute startx to check it.
To uninstall the software

# yum -y remove httpd         
# yum -y remove ftp
