this is the seventh installment of a tutorial series covering unity’s scriptable render pipeline. it covers the addition of reflections, both specular highlights and sampled reflection probes.

1 specular highlights

up to this point we have only used simple diffuse lighting, without any highlights. we are going to change that now, adding support for specular lighting. we will used the same model that is used in unity’s lightweight render pipeline. the rendeing 4, the first light tutorial covers the theory behind specular lighting, but uses an different model.
