WUS(Wake-Up Signaling)是3GPP NR Rel16中引入的节能机制之一。
DRX(Discontinuous reception)是NR引入降低功耗的重要方式,让终端定期休眠不监听PDCCH。
但即使启用了DRX,仍然存在功耗,因为当终端没有数据时,也还是会在OnDuration时间内定期唤醒以监视PDCCH,导致了不必要的唤醒。
引入WUS是为了通过网络指示“No wake up”来减少终端不必要的唤醒。如果终端有任何数据,网络将通知终端“wake up”,唤醒终端并在OnDuration时间内接收数据。

终端在启动DRX OnDuration计时器之前检测WUS DCI。如果唤醒指示设置为“1”,则UE启动DRX OnDuration计时器。如果唤醒指示设置为“0”,则UE不会启动DRX OnDuration计时器。
即通过DCI Format2_6通知终端在Long DRX Active周期,是否需要唤醒监控PDCCH。“0”表示下一个Long DRX 周期,不需要唤醒监控PDCCH;“1”表示需要监控PDCCH;

ps-RNTI
RNTI value for scrambling CRC of DCI format 2-6 used for power saving (see TS 38.213 [13], clause 10.1).
ps-Offset
The start of the search-time of DCI format 2-6 with CRC scrambled by PS-RNTI relative to the start of thedrx-onDurationTimer of Long DRX (see TS 38.213 [13], clause 10.3). Value in multiples of 0.125ms (milliseconds). 1 corresponds to 0.125 ms, 2 corresponds to 0.25 ms, 3 corresponds to 0.375 ms and so on.
ps-WakeUp
Indicates the UE to wake-up if DCI format 2-6 is not detected outside active time (see TS 38.321 [3], clause 5.7). If the field is absent, the UE does not wake-up if DCI format 2-6 is not detected outside active time.
ps-PositionDCI-2-6
Starting position of UE wakeup and SCell dormancy indication in DCI format 2-6 (see TS 38.213 [13], clause 10.3).
ps-TransmitPeriodicL1-RSRP
Indicates the UE to transmit periodic L1-RSRP report(s) when thedrx-onDurationTimer does not start (see TS 38.321 [3], clause 5.7). If the field is absent, the UE does not transmit periodic L1-RSRP report(s) when the drx-onDurationTimer does not start.
ps-TransmitOtherPeriodicCSI
Indicates the UE to transmit periodic CSI report(s) other than L1-RSRP reports when thedrx-onDurationTimer does not start (see TS 38.321 [3], clause 5.7). If the field is absent, the UE does not transmit periodic CSI report(s) other than L1-RSRP reports when the drx-onDurationTimer does not start.
