本文提供了一种解决HP QuickTest Professional及LoadRunner安装失败的方法。具体步骤包括：打开临时文件夹，查找特定的日志文件，根据系统管理员建议备份并删除有问题的注册表项，最后重新安装软件。

解决方法：

1. Open the %TEMP% folder (in the Start -> Run dialog, type %TEMP% and click Enter).
2. In this folder, search for a file named "Prereq_Mgr.HP_QuickTest_Professional_9.5.log". This file is created by the installation program and contains a list of registry keys that can potentially fail the latest setup process.
3. Consult with the computer's system administrator about backing-up and deleting the registry keys specified in the log file above. Rename/remove the problematic keys according to the administrator's recommendations.
4. After renaming the registry keys, install QuickTest Professional again.

LR装不上类似问题，用这种方法也可以解决，查找文件Prereq_Mgr.HP_LoadRunner_9.10.log。
