2 我原先那个公司已经破产了，因为那家公司没什么前途，所以我需要考虑我的未来
my former company has been bankrupt, because that company didn't have a good future, i needed to consider my future
3 老板告诉我说，我明天或者以后都不必来公司了，我被解雇了
the boss told me that i don't have to come in tomorrow ,or any other day ,i am fired
4 去年一整年你的工作都毫无起色，我别无选择，你被解雇了
you have shown no improvement over last year i have no choice but to fire you
5 公司必须裁剪一些员工
the company has to lay off some staff
6 他的妻子被调到海外工作，所以他只能辞职了
his wife is being transferred overseas , so he had to quit his job
7 迈克的工作质量总是达不到要求，所以他最终被炒鱿鱼了
mike's work was constantly below standard, so he finally got the sack
8 是我做错了什么还是我什么事情没做好么？
is there anything wrong that i have done or anything that i haven't done
9 经过我慎重考试，我决定辞去副经理一职，
after much reflection, i have decided that i must resign my positon deputy general manager
10 这有点意外，是因为我需要新的挑战
it comes as a bit of suprise ,it is because i need new challenges
