　　Vitamin C原名为Colleen Ann Fitzpatrick,而她给人的感觉就像vitamin C一样，亲切而充满活力。这个1972年出生于新泽西州的女歌手最初的梦想是做一名舞蹈演员，在高中时沉迷舞蹈的她也开始加入一些乐队的演出。1988年，她获得了喜剧Hairspray中的一个角色，之后在1995年又参与了另一个电视剧的演出。在此期间，她组建了Eve's Plum乐队，并担任主唱，前后发行了2张专辑，Envy和Cherry Alive。1999年单飞后，以她自己名字命名的专辑面市，并录制了流行单曲“Smile”。然而她真正的成功开始于2000年的这首“Graduation”,又名“Friends Forever”，当年美国每一个面临毕业的学生都听过，它几乎成为2000年的“圣歌”。
