Pronunciation, the first appearence of your language, is the basic
key to the success of oral English learning.
Although both Chinese and English are the greatest languages in
the world, they have very less in common. Their pronunciation, intonation,
and average speed of expressing are quite different.
Chinese is a language made by words and characters, English is a
language made by words, syllables, and alphabets. Chinese is a language of
Eastern L.family, English is a language of Western L.family...
One of the biggest problem of big languages is their local accents.
For examples, we have Beijing Hua, Shanghai Hua, SiChuan Hua, Cantonese and
so on. It is the same to English itself. We have American English, British
English, Canadian English, European English and what so ever.
Now, we have millions of Chinese English learners, and they are
speaking a kind of terrible English----CHINglish!
Do you speak English? Or do you speak CHINglish?
Try to think it over.
And, remember... Only those who were born native can speak real
native language. We are trying to get closer and closer to the native way
of speaking, and it does take time.
Head up!
