本文介绍了Visual Studio 2008引入的重要特性——Multi-Targeting，允许开发者在同一IDE中选择不同的.NET Framework版本进行开发，无需更新现有项目。这一特性提高了开发灵活性，使开发者能够指定项目使用的.NET Framework版本。

什么是 Multi-Targeting?

以前颁布的Visual Studio只支持一种.NET Framework. 例如, VS 2002 只工作在.NET 1.0, VS 2003 只工作在.NET 1.1, VS 2005 只工作在.NET 2.0.

VS 2008 的重大改变之一就是支持"Multi-Targeting" - 那就是说VS将支持多种版本的.NET Framework。开发人员将就此收益，不必要为了使用VS 2008而升级现有的项目.

当在VS 2008 创建新的项目的时候，你可以指定用哪一个.NET Framework。只有跟这个.NET Framework工作的features, controls, projects才显示出来。
