本文记录了在Linux环境下安装JDK1.4.2过程中遇到的文件损坏错误及解决方法，通过设置_POSIX2_VERSION环境变量成功完成安装。

   在SUN的论坛上找到的解决方法是：
   # change posix version for compatability for .bin to unpack
   export _POSIX2_VERSION=199209
   ./j2sdk-1_4_2_11-linux-i586.bin
