【The Time Traveller's Wife】

 

After reading The Time Traveller's Wife:

 

     It's a tragedy,I think.But it's mixed with hope.Henry is dead.but he can time travel to the years after his death and see Clare again.So it might be a beautiful and imaginary tragedy.

     The key of the whole story is set to be "waiting".When Clare is a  little girl,she waits for the "Big Henry" to come.When they're married,Clare is always waiting the "Present Henry" to back home.And after his death……you know.I admire the patience and endurance of them two.

     I love the last sentence in Henry'letter to Clare."Time is nothing."

In this book,it does have a point.They're absent from each other's life most of the time,but they are so connected all the time.Maybe , love  beyond time and space is the true love.

     So,there is a moral: Do cherish every moment with the closest and dearest in case we "vanish" one day.Life is short.
