英语----形容词和副词

He is a careful dirver. // 他是一个小心谨慎的司机

Listen to my carefully. // 仔细的听我说   表明动词的状态和方式

 

I'm terribly sorry(形容词) for being late. // 副词修饰形容词========>  for  late(形容词)所以加be 不能是原形故being

Ace's courses are extremely helpful.// 副词修饰形容词

Ace is a brilliant English teacher.

Ace is brilliant.// 形容词 作表语

Ace make you brilliant.// 作为补语

// The difficulty makes you more strong.

Large or samll, all countries are equal. // 状语

// more or less, the overall profits we made form this transation.

 

多个形容词的排序

限定词          数量词        描绘性形容词    大小长短高低形状    新旧老幼温度     颜色国籍               材料和用途

Those           three          pretty              large square          new                 yellow French       cotton  writing desks.

 

It's a   charming  small  French  clock, made of brass and dating from the nineteenth century.

 

复合形容词

part-time                   kind-hearted

dark-blue                    easy-going

hard-working               newly-made

world-famous              time-consuming

hand-made                 three-legged

ten-meter-long           second-hand

 

ly结尾但是为形容词

deadly                   friendly

likely: be likely to do                      lively

lonely                    lovely

orderly                  silly                    timely

 

 

副词

(Last night)He sang  beautifully  in the hall last night.

方式副词          地点副词       时间副词(也可以放在句首)

However   therefore   hence     obviously

However   she didn't show up.

Obviously, these terrorists are not going to give up resisting.

However，she didn't show up. therefore/hence/obviously,

副词不能直接和句子相连     要用逗号隔开， 否则犯错     

只有连词才可以接触句子

 

as  + adj/adv(修饰的是名词还副词) + as

His apples are as many(数量形容词) as mine.

He can run as fast as you do.

He is as diligent a student as you. 

// he works as hard a employee as you.

He is  a student as diligent as you.// 名词要放在后面

 

He speaks English very well indeed, but of course not so fluently(修饰speaks) as  a native speaker.
