摘要:
A modified laser interferometer system is developed that makes possible the noncontact detection and analysis of dynamic displacement on remote, unprepared rock surfaces. The system is a broadband device and does not suffer from acoustic-impedance-matching problems or frequency-response problems characteristic of conventional contact transducers. The potential applications of such a sysem include hazard detection in mines seeing ahead of a working face in tunneling operations, vibration-mode studies of large structures, and examination of vibrating surfaces in hostile environments.
