nginx installation on redhat6.6 with non 80 port



rpm -ivf nginx-1.10.3-1.el6.ngx.x86_64.rpm

rpm -qa httpd-

vi /etc/sysconfig/iptabless

-A INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 81 -j ACCEPT

service iptables restart

service nginx restart

checking if nginx is installed well

cd /usr
echo "test">./share/nginx/html/index.html

and then goto

localhost:81 or ip:81

you will see "test"
