本文记录了在 CentOS 5.6 系统上安装 VirtualBox Guest Additions 的过程及遇到的问题。由于未能自动识别内核源码路径导致安装失败，通过手动指定内核源码目录并重新安装 gcckernel 和 kernel-devel 包解决了问题。
[root@localhost ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 5.6 (Final)
[root@localhost ~]# sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
Building the main Guest Additions module [失败]
[root@localhost ~]# cat /var/log/vboxadd-install.log
/tmp/vbox.0/Makefile.include.header:97: *** Error: unable to find the sources of your current Linux kernel. Specify KERN_DIR=<directory> and run Make again。 停止。
Creating user for the Guest Additions.
Creating udev rule for the Guest Additions kernel module.
[root@localhost ~]# yum install gcc kernel kernel-devel
[root@localhost ~]# reboot
[root@localhost ~]# /etc/init.d/vboxadd setup
