2006 Jolt大奖最后入围名单揭晓

总的感觉是跑偏。工具中很多我相信大家都没有怎么用过。有些类别其实不评也罢，比如IDE。

重点说一说图书好了。说实在的，2005年整个国外计算机图书出版很令人失望，而这个评奖就更令人失望了，曾经的那些慧眼都到哪里去了呢？
一般类图书。很多书主题都比较偏，比如两本讲开源业务的，还有一本讲Ambient Findability的，应该与基于位置的服务有关，Prefactoring也属于尚无定论的一家之言，入围似乎欠妥。而The World Is Flat这样的书入选，更是离谱，这个一般也太泛泛了吧，再这么评下去，哪天把什么哈里波特选进来算了。
权衡之下，我预计The Art of Project Management 会折桂，Best Software Writing 也有希望。

技术图书。Lisp图书居然入选，估计是哪位评委自己的偏好吧。SOA那本书的入选肯定会引起争议，因为作者完全无视RSS/Ajax这样的主流，还是死抱SOAP。Java中入选的是Wicked Cool 那本小书，为什么不是Java Puzzlers呢？或者Spring的那几本书之一？总比去年的lighter，faster，better Java那本强吧？Why Programs Fail和Framework Design Guidelines的入选，甚合我意。前一本书是GNU Data Display Debugger (DDD)的开发者；后一本书则是微软.net团队的智慧结晶。Rail现在国外大热，入围合情合理，不过为什么没有Ajax呢？怪异。
