Mutilated ladies

Has it ever happened to you ? Have you put your trousers into the washing machine and then remembered a large bank note on your back pocket. When you rescued your trousers,did you find the note was whiter than white? People living in Briton needn't despair when they make mistake like this (a lot of people do). The bank of England has a team called: Mutilated ladies which deals with the claims from people who fed their money to a machine or a dog. Dogs , it seems, loved to chew up money. Recent case concerned Jane Butlin whose fiance , John ,has a successful furniture business. John has a good day and he put his wallet containing $3000 into the microwave oven for safekeeping. Then he and Jane went horse-ridding. When they got home at evening, Jain put their dinner into the microwave and did't realize the wallet. Imagine the dismay when they find the beautiful cooked wallet and note turned to ash. John met her bank manager who sent the remains of wallet and notes to the special department of bank of England in Newcastle called Mutilated Ladies. They examined the remains of wallet and notes and John got his all money back. "so long as there is something to identify. we will get the people all money back."said the spokeswoman of the bank.,"Last year, We paid $1.5 million on the 21,000 claims".
