本文介绍在CentOS操作系统上使用yum命令安装xinetd过程中遇到的问题及解决办法。由于Elasticsearch仓库文件不存在导致无法获取元数据，解决方式为删除对应的Elasticsearch.repo配置文件。

操作系统CENTOS

# yum install xinetd

Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: ticsearch-2.3. Please verify its path and try again

原因是https://packages.elastic.co/elasticsearch/2.3/centos/repodata/repomd.xml 文件不存在

解决方法：删掉/etc/yum.repos.d/Elasticsearch.repo 即可
