I tried on Windos Chinese XP + VMware 5.5.1. I found that VM added two network connections in WinXP called VMnet1and VMnet8. My original IP addr is 192.168.0.163. The new IP addrs are 192.168.25.1 and 192.168.221.1. My VM's IP is 192.168.25.128.

1. Why doesn't it work to set VM to bridged network connection? And I checked that the option of Vmware birdged protocol in WinXP is selected.

2. when VM's network connection is set to NAT, I can assess the Internet. But other machines cannot assess to neither 25.1 or 25.128 of my VM machine. So I changed they defalut gateway to 192.168.0.163 of my WinXP. Then these PC can assess 192.168.25.1, but not 25.128.
