In enterprise environment, access control is sometimes done with the group policy. sometimes out of no reason, the group policy is out of date, and you have to manually force the sync, below shows you how you can do that.
you can update your local group policy with the following command.
- gpupdate /force
As indicated in the following reference page: Gpupdate . It is a superceding command for the now obsolete "secedit /refreshpolicy" command.
you may need to log off/on to effectuate the change.
