some useful skills you learned in a math class from your primary/ high school

well it is so difficult for me,i really don’t know what “skills” means here,what is that mean. firstly i think maybe we can learn the ability of arithmetic ,like addition,subtraction,multiplication and division method. these four kinds of arithmetic is basic things we learn. by the way, i know that only Chinese and some Asian will memorize the multiplication table. i think it is one of the most important and useful thing. some Chinese people can figure out the numbers very quickly at shopping,but people in other countries may need to use the calculator.

secondly, maybe the geometry.I’m not sure if the geometry is important, we see all kinds of things in different shapes, but it seems that we don’t need to use any geometry. well, i think maybe some students who major in architecture will use the geometry. it seems that the geometry is nothing to do with average person.

well, i really cannot think of anything else,this topic is so difficult.i really want to get a six in speaking.i hope i can get it .you know some topics like this ,i just cannot think of many things to say. if you give me two minutes to talk about this topic in Chinese,I’m not sure if i can do it.

 

i would say i learned several skills in math class.

 firstly i learned the ability of arithmetic ,like addition,subtraction,multiplication and division method. . after we learn these things, we have the basic ability of math. we can use it to do something about arithmetic. like when we are in supermarket and need to calculate some numbers and sometimes when we have to keep accounts and so on.we all need these four basic  arithmetic.they are really important.

secondly the geometry.i always think that the geometry have something to do with our life.for example ,everything in our life have their own shapes.but it seems that we don’t need to use the geometry.i mean we don’t need to measure them or something else.i think maybe some students major in architecture or design science or mechanics need the geometry. so maybe average person like us don’t need the geometry.

well another thing that i learned in math class is the logical ability.for example, i am a programmer of developing applications on the mobile phone. so before i write my code,i have to draw a flow chart.so i have to consider different processes, different conditions and different results. i have to think of all these things and make a plan.and when i am writing code,i also need the logical ability to design my code.

 

 

favorite season- summer

well, you know , when we were kids,teachers will also ask similar questions,i don’t know in what class,maybe Chinese class. teacher will also ask us that what is your favorite season.so i think this question is so childish. there are only four seasons, and you know spring,summer,autumn are similar,and you still ask people that what’s your favorite season. what is that mean.what do you want people to say.and these four seasons are the same to some people from tropics.

for example,one of my classmates in college is from ha n province.and every season is same to him. so how can he answer this stupid question.

and one more thing. if people like a season that is because the temperature.so people can only talk about temperature and something they can do. well,i will stop talking about these things.

well it should be summer.because i will only wear a t-shirt and a shorts in summer which is so convenient and comfortable. i have to wear a lot of clothes in winter,it is very inconvenient.and in summer, i will go to fly kites with my friends and i will go swimming.and we can go to the seaside during the summer.if people go seaside in winter, they cannot play with water because it is freezing cold.

 

i would say that the summer is my favorite,because in summer i will only wear a t-shirt and a shorts.it is so simple and comfortable and convenient. you know people have to wear a lot of clothes in winter, that is very inconvenient.

in summer,i will go to fly kites with my friends.i remember a summer holiday,i went to garden to fly kites,one of my friends said maybe we can make our own kite by hand. we all agree with the idea. we went to the supermarket near the garden and bought some fishing lines ,some papers and some glues.then we back to the garden and find some sticks. we use the glue to adhere the sticks onto the papers. and after tries several times, we finally made a kite successfully.

i also often go swimming summer.there are some people said that swimming in winter is beneficial for physical health, but i think that’s freezing cold. so i only go swimming in summer. well every summer holiday, i will go to seaside with my friends. we can play with water and swim.

 

 

Describe an interesting job that you want to have in the future.

well, i was a programmer of developing apps on the mobile phone. but i resigned about several months ago, i decided to study abroad. after i finished my study ,maybe i will do this job again.it is quite interesting and kind of challenging.

well, maybe i can talk about how i work. Firstly, the product manager will list all the requirements, then i will have a meeting with my program manager to discuss if these requirements are rational and how can we fulfill these requirements. then i will receive all the images and pictures from the UI designer. after that i will draw a flow chart to design all the processes and start to write my code.

to be honest, i often work overtime, sometimes after i finished my code, the product will alter some requirements, so i have to alter my code too. but the product manager will not reset the deadline, so i will be pretty busy.

but this job is still attractive to me, because every time when i complete a project, that will give a great sense of achievement. i really love that feeling.

So i think maybe i will do this job again in the future
