XML

The "eXtensible Markup Language" is a data format for structured document interchange on the Web. XML itself is not a markup language, such as HTML, but rather a metalanguage used to create other specialized languages. XML documents will be increasingly used to allow collaboration, that is to say exchanging business documents on the Internet.
