Something to check if the Dynamics Ax 4 client throws the "failed to logon to axapta" error
Good morning
I've been getting this "failed to logon to axapta" error message even since I last changed my network password. I was able to start the client using my user from another PC, and I was able to start the client so long as I was connecting to another AOS. After googling, I found the following post on
eggheadcafe.ca:
"Go to 'Control Panel/User Accounts/Advanced/Manage Passwords' to see if there is an entry for the AOS machine (the one that gives you the error when attempting to connect). If there is, delete it."
Solved it for me!
