Can you write more than 65,536 rows to Excel

Question

Can I write more than 65,536 rows to an Excel spreadsheet (worksheet) When I'm using FME to write to an Excel spreadsheet I get an error that the spreadsheet is full. Provider error `(-2147467259) Spreadsheet is full.'. FME seems to only write the first 65,536 rows and the remaining rows from my source get ignored. I have Excel 2007 (or higher) installed and I can create a spreadsheet with over a million rows as indicated by Microsoft but not with FME
