How time flies! I have been in Seattle for six weeks. It is half time I am going to stay here. As the curious feeling gone, I should summary what i did these days. and what i am going to do in the next time i stay here.

My first feeling is American are very open and nice. When you encounter a person, he will say hello to you with smile, even if you do not know him. If you have a question to ask him, he will be very patient to answer you until you got it. It seems that all the Aremican live a happy and simple life.

The second feeling is traffic. There are many cars in the rush time, But the order is very good! The driver obey the traffic rules strictly. My most impressive thing is rides let people go first, much diffrent in China. The car will not go until you have crossed the road totally. If you stand on one side the road, the car will stop to wait for you crossing the road.

The third feeling is my spoken english. My spoken english is not very good. some time I do not know how to express my meanings clearly. It seems that I have forgotten many words and sentences offen used. I think it is because it is a long time I have not praticed my english. It is a very good chance to practice my english. I should make any effort to obtain some chances to speak english with foreigners. I will make a plan to learn English. It will be more reading, listening, writing. It will also contain extensive reading and intensive reading. The best way is to write diary everyday, and reading some materials and recite some good articles.

The fourth feeling is in technology aspect. The foreigners always like to ask why and how it works. They want to find the strong and weak points of a technology. They are very focused on the comtability of the software. In a real time system, the base layer is their own product. Database is their own, network is their own. They know the weak point of the TCP/IP, and modify them to make more efficiently. That is amazing! It shocks me very much. The system is very large. There is many things for me to learn!
