IE browser use URL to login web site

Sometimes our site need login with windows security popup login dialog.

We can put user name and pwd in url to auto login web site in Firefox.

Like: Http://username:password@127.0.0.1

Internet Explorer does not support user names and passwords in Web site addresses

This feature has disable after IE6.0.

In automation testing we need skip the windows security popup login dialog.

We can manually set register to disable the new feature.

To disable the new default behavior in Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer, createiexplore.exe andexplorer.exe DWORD values in one of the following registry keys and set their value data to0.

• For all users of the program, set the value in thefollowing registry key:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_HTTP_USERNAME_PASSWORD_DISABLE
• For the current user of the program only, set the value inthe following registry key:
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_HTTP_USERNAME_PASSWORD_DISABLE
