Recently I am working on a solution to minitor my website using online hosted sevice.

Now I am evaluating MrAlert.com and siteuptime.com. They are very good to meet our goal (monitor site status based on page content check) based on the service introduction, but when I try them, I see the following differences:

1) Fee
MrAlert.com is free of charge
siteuptime.com needs $5/month for content check

2) Monitors
MrAlert.com seems to have no limits
siteuptime.com has 1 monitor for Free account

3) Support team
MrAlert.com seems to have no support, or has slow response. I sent several inquery emails but no reply yet.
siteuptime.com has immediate and professional support. All my questions are got replied swiftly. Now I am evaluating the trial offer with content check feature

4) Usage
Mralert.com can send out daily status update, but no Alerts only when website is down
siteuptime.com seems to work, but seems to have a problem to check XML style content
