 1. Ribbon Object Gradient Design  
 1.1 Steps for Designing Ribbon Gradient  
 Select the blue ribbon object. 
 Choose the Gradient tool (Ctrl + F1 or G), and create a vertical (Ctrl) linear gradient in its fill. 
 Set the end stop opacity to 100. 
 Add another stop by double - clicking on the gradient path at approximately the same height as the highlight on the golden stripes. 
 Select the new stop and make it a lighter color using Color Gestures. Click on the Fill: box in the bottom - left of the window, hold Ctrl, and drag upwards and to the right; move left and right until the desired lightness is reached. 
 Deselect everything (Esc twice)
