MD5 Fingerprint is a simple application that can be used to calculate the MD5 hash for any file, and then compare it to another one. It's easy enough to compare 2 hashes just looking at them but MD5 hashes have 32 characters all mixed with letters and numbers, meaning, it can be boring to compare all of them and you could still miss some character.
Latest Changes:
- Support for drag and drop files was added
- Fixed bug where the numeric value "0" was sometimes omited from the hash
- It's now possible to compare correctly with lowercase hashes
- About form is now accessed through the system menu of the application
- New icon, and with that, the cosmetics were a bit modified
- Added a little animation so you know the application has not crashed
- Added support for Windows XP Visual Styles support through a MANIFEST file
- Some minor bug fixes and improvements
