1182566 - Error: "RUN-050406 Bad system" when you try to run jobs on the server

Symptom

The following error is received when running jobs:

RUN-050406 Bad System

Cause

This error is most often caused when there is insufficient memory to run the job.

**********RESOLUTION******

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Restart the Job Server.

2. Check the Windows NT Event Log for a Virtual Memory error.

3. Check to see that you have enough virtual memory on the machine to run the job.

4. From the log files, determine which DataFlow was executing when the job failed.

5. Review your job, checking the caching options that you have set for source tables and lookup functions.

6. Run the job again.
