In this Document Symptoms   Cause   Solution APPLIES TO: Oracle Human Resources - Version 11.5.10.2 and later Information in this document applies to any platform. SYMPTOMS When attempting to create a new job (in shared HR),  the following error occurs: ID&ID for the flexfield segment &SEGMENT does not exist in value set &VALUESET Additional information - when the new value has a name without '.' it's ok but when in the name I put '.' it's in error. For exemple for "Asis Compras Grles" is ok but for "Asis.Compras.Grles" is not ok. Steps To Reproduce: The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps: 1. <responsibility unknown> 2. Setup->Personnel->Jobs 3. Try and create a new job CAUSE Issue caused by character '.' in the job name.   SOLUTION Change key flexfield seperator to a character different from a period (.) 1. System Administrator : Application > Flexfield > Key > Segments 2. Query the job flexfield 3. Unfreeze 4. Change seperator to pipe (|) , recompile the flexfield and retest
