计划于2006年4月20日发布ESXServer3.0的候选版本，并同步更新VirtualCenter2.0的Beta2版本。ESXServer3.0已达到候选版本质量标准，而VirtualCenter2.0仍需进一步完善才能成为正式候选版本。

ESX Server 3.0 Release Candidate (RC) Build: There has been a concentrated effort by Engineering to reach the RC quality exit criteria and enable certification to begin with the ESX Server 3.0 product. The release is scheduled to be posted to the beta website on April 20^th, 2006. I will send out an email announcement when it’s ready for download.

VirtualCenter 2.0 Beta 2 Update Build: The VirtualCenter team has made major strides towards RC but still has some outstanding work to accomplish before we can call it a true Release Candidate build. We will be releasing a Beta 2 Update on April 20^th, 2006 to coincide with the ESX Server 3.0 RC build. The official RC build for VirtualCenter 2.0 will be announced as we get closer to meeting the RC quality exit criteria.

Note: ESX Server 3.0 and VirtualCenter 2.0 will be released together when we reach General Availability (GA). The staggered release during beta will not carry forward to GA.
