HOW TO DO IT: Set up a checklist for ensuring availability. Include the following: Make sure your wide-area networks are redundant. Double-check your high-availability servers on the Internet to make sure they can withstand DDoS attacks. Test the stability of all new drivers before deploying them. Always test your backups ahead of time.
