There's a good news : this week has 8 days. It means I'll have 7 holidays:-)
The title of my department is called "IBM Package Application Services". Its main responsibility is to delivery high quality services with low cost to customers. As you've probably noticed by now, I'm always a lucky guy:-) When I on board, maybe I'll play a part in CRM(Customer Relationship Management) project. In manager's words, it's a quite new area. I've read some materials which says many CRM projects were end in failure 8^(
But its future is still bright. The reasons bring project to failure are complex and much more due to the "people" not the "technology".
In the office, I've made many new friends. My colleages're very kind and nice. Because this is consultant department, there're many girls. They're also very beautiful:-P
I also find the GBS Global delivery web site is very useful. I'll save it in my browser and use it as much as possible. As our leader have told us, global delivery needs to be part of our DNA, the more familiar we become with what global delivary is for IBM and how to take advantage of the capability, the more successful we're going to be as a company. Of cause, we'll be succussfull as a person.
