西行漫记(13):Show Time

在casestudy的showcase中,我们小组选择了一种轻松搞笑的方式展示我们的decision point,获得了最多的笑声和印度公司老板的关注。每个成员都发挥了出色的表现,使整个展示非常成功。在随后的回顾会议上,大家通过几百张卡片分享了过去四周的感受。

今天是case study的showcase,每个组负责一个decision point,印度公司的老板和TWU的老师坐在下面听,我们讲。我们这个组选择了轻松搞笑的风格——反正是不会缺严肃主题的。结果我们也是得到笑声最多并且(据我观察)让老板兴趣最大的一组,大成功。

就像我在课后总结上写的,相信自己的团队,把球传给他们,相信他们会投篮得分。我们的团队出色得连我自己都感到意外,“Positive Pete” Andrew(我的另一个同屋)和“Negative Nancy” Cam的精彩对话让台下所有人精神一振。每个环节都很棒,每个人都在超水平发挥。本来我对自己的第一次英语presentation颇有些紧张,但走上台以后就感到很自在,局面尽在掌握的感觉,连“sorry”都说得很自信。所以,Xiao把我拉进公司看起来是正确的,也许我确实有站在台上做演说的某些潜质。

前四周的大课结束了,下午的restrospective一下子回顾整个四星期的好与不好。于是,几百张卡片一下子就贴满了一面墙,情形蔚为壮观。虽然也遇到各种各样的问题,譬如生病,譬如想家,但我们还是过得很好,学到很多。下周开始就要死亡特训OOP了,会有怎样的问题要解决呢?期待着……
