A contract is a mutually binding agreement that obligates the seller to provide the specified product and obligates the buyer to pay for it. Contracts generally fall into one of three broad categories:
合約----合約是買賣雙方相互約束的同意書,以律定賣方有提供特定產品予買方而買方,有付款義務的文件。合約通常歸納在下列三大範疇之一

Any measurable, tangible, verifiable outcome, result, or item that must be produced to complete a project or part of a project. Often used more narrowly in reference to an external deliverable, which is a deliverable that is subject to approval by the project sponsor or customer.
交付標的----為完成某一專案或部分專案所必須提供的任何一種可測量的、有形的、且可確認的產品、結果、或項目。而「外部的交付標的的名詞之使用」則較為狹隘,它必須經過專案出資者或顧客認可的產品方可稱之。

[size=large]Earned Value (EV). [/size]
The physical work accomplished plus the authorized budget for this work. The sum of the approved cost estimates (may include overhead allocation) for activities (or portions of activities) completed during a given period (usually project-date). Previously called the budgeted cost of work performed (BCWP) for an activity or group of activities.
實獲值----實際已完成的工作加上預算要完成的工作。所有核准成本的預估值(可包含攤費)在活動經一段時問完成後之總合。過去稱為一項或一系列活動群的〝 已執行工作的預定成本〞

[size=large]Earned Value Management (EVM). [/size]
A method for integrating scope, schedule, and resources, and for measuring project performance. It compares the amount of work that was planned with what was actually earned with what was actually spent to determine if cost and schedule performance are as planned.
實獲值管理----一種整合範疇、時程、資源以衡量專案成效的方法。它將計劃要執行的上作量與實際已施行工作量及已花費的成本作一比較,以決定成本與時程是否按計劃目標達成。

[size=large]Effort.[/size]
The number of labor units required to complete an activity or other project element. Usually expressed as staff hours, staff days, or staff weeks. Should not be confused with duration.
工作付出----為完成某活動項目或其他專案要素所必需付出的單位人力數。工作付出經常以人工小時(Staff-hours )、人工天數(Staff-days )、或人工週數( staff-weeks )表示。 它不應與「期程」相混淆。

An unintended break in a network path. Hangers are usually caused by missing activities or missing logical relationships.
掛鉤----掛鉤是指在「網路路徑」上不預期的中止。「活動」或「網路邏輯」的遺漏經常是造成掛鉤的原因。

An individual certified as such by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

(1) The process of evaluating overall project performance on a regular basis to provide confidence that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards. (2) The organizational unit that is assigned responsibility for quality assurance.
品質確保----( l)是一種能在正規的基礎上評估整體的專案績效,以確保一個專案能滿足相關品質標準而得到信賴感的程序;( 2)是一個負責品質保証的組織單位。

[size=large]Quality Control (QC). [/size]
(1) The process of monitoring specific project results to determine if they comply with relevant quality standards and identifying ways to eliminate causes of unsatisfactory performance. (2) The organizational unit that is assigned responsibility for quality control.
品質控制----( l)是一種藉監視專案的結果,以決定其是否都遵照相關的品質標準,並確認採取必要之方法以消弭令人不滿意績效問題的程序:( 2)是一個負責品質控制的組織單位。

[size=large]Schedule Performance Index (SPI). [/size]
The schedule efficiency ratio of earned value accomplished against the planned value. The SPI describes what portion of the planned
schedule was actually accomplished. The SPI = EV divided by PV.
時程續效指標----「已執行工作的預定成本」對「排定工作的預定成本」的比值(實獲值/預算)。請參照「實獲值」

[size=large]Statement of Work (SOW). [/size]
A narrative description of products or services to be supplied under contract.
工作條款(工作說明)敘述合約中必須提供的產品或服務。
