alpha 1 rev. number plz? - Ext JS

Jack any chance of tacking on a 1.xx to Alpha 1 for each incremental change? I am having trouble deciding when I need to download the latest zip. I have a feeling I am waisting bandwidth.

That is definitely a reasonable request. I will make an official thread with incrementing build numbers. After we get through these first couple days, I will start versioning the name of the zip file. The problem is right now there are too many links pointing to it.

Just drop a REVISION file in the zip and put a number inside of it for the first few days? This way you can point to the same zip and we all can communicate about what revision we are running? Aaron

You can also make an .htaccess rule that redirects ext-1.0-alpha1.zip requests to the latest revision like ext-1.0-alpha1-build1234.zip
