Charles是一款强大的HTTP代理/监视器/反向代理工具，它能让开发者查看所有从本地机器到互联网的HTTP流量，包括请求、响应及HTTP头信息等。对于Adobe Flash开发者来说尤其有用，因为可以通过Charles查看LoadVariables、LoadMovie和XML加载的内容，并且Charles内置了对Flash Remoting（AMF0和AMF3）的支持。

Charles is an HTTP proxy / HTTP monitor / Reverse Proxy that enables a developer to view all of the HTTP traffic between their machine and the Internet. This includes requests, responses and the HTTP headers (which contain the cookies and caching information).
