Is there a way to prevent an app or process from being terminated by the Android OS due to the OS's attempt to free up resources?
The app needs to put itself in the Notifications bar in order to keep from getting killed when it's in the background. This is what apps like Music or Pandora do in order to keep playing music and not get killed when they are backgrounded. See below.
